Biography

With a career that began at the age of 14, Angie Everhart skyrocketed from high school mascot to stunning supermodel overnight. Angie was first discovered while working at a local fashion show in Akron, Ohio, where a talent scout saw the potential that she possessed, and had her in New York within two weeks.  Following her tenure in New York, Angie moved to France at the age of 17 where she remained for 10 years.  While living in France she became fluent in French and learned quite a bit of Italian, all of which she has retained through today.

As a result of Angie’s international modeling success, she transitioned into a heavier regiment of print and TV campaigns. The first of which was for the Finesse brand, with who she remained for several years. Once Angie moved on from Finesse, she then became the spokeswoman for L’Oréal, in which she promoted the company’s hair related products such as: hair color, shampoo, conditioner and other styling related products.  Being the L’Oréal spokeswoman in Europe and the cache that goes along with that association allowed Angie to transition into becoming the face of Pantene.

Recognized worldwide for her undeniable beauty, Angie graced the covers of Elle and Glamour and was the first redhead to be on the cover of American Glamour, all by the time she was 18.   Appearing on countless magazine covers and being featured in numerous editorials made Angie a household name and gained her much notoriety among magazine editors.  This notoriety paved the way for Angie to be in Sports Illustrated’s Swimsuit Issue four times, in which one of those times she was the featured model in the magazine’s most popular issue.  These associations caught the attention of famed fashion houses such as: Chanel, YSL Rive Gauche, Lolita Lempicka, Christian Dior, Versace, Gianfranco Ferré, Max Mara and Christian Lacroix. In addition, Angie also became the first redheaded model to ever have a cosmetic contract with French company, PHAS.  She was not only featured in print campaigns for the previously mentioned brands but also participated in every major haute couture runway show and fashion event in the world. Through all her experience in the industry, Angie garnered incredible mainstream appeal, which was demonstrated by the success of her work for Levi’s and caused the corporate world to acknowledge her presence as an international icon.

Following her success in the modeling world, Angie soon made the transition from the runway to the big screen in 1993’s The Last Action Hero, where she co-starred with Arnold Schwarzenegger. Soon after, Everhart continued her transition co-starring in such films as Jade with David Caruso, Bordello of Blood and Another 9 ½ Weeks. However, it wouldn’t be long before television would start calling Angie’s name.

Angie would soon be making guest appearances on such television shows as: 3rd Rock From the Sun, Caroline in the City, Law and Order: Special Victims Unit and was regularly seen as Carly on the NBC action-drama UC: Undercover. She also appeared as Chessie in James Patterson’s NBC Miniseries First To Die, as well as The Science Fiction Channel’s Bugs with Antonio Sabato Jr. and Hallmark Channel’s The Hollywood Mom’s Mystery. In addition, Angie has also hosted numerous television shows, including the M6 awards (French Music TV Awards), which was broadcasted live in French. Later on she was also seen competing against a few other celebrities in ABC’s Celebrity Mole Yucatan asThe Mole”. She then shot several films including Mary Higgins Clark’s Cradle Will Fall for Pax TV, as well as the feature film Bandido opposite Matt Craven, CLOUD 9 with Burt Reynolds and Universal/Imagine’s film Kids in America starring Topher Grace.

In addition to modeling and acting, Angie is also passionate about children’s charities and environmental causes, as well as is very enthused by extreme sports and enjoys testing her physical limits.  She has over 300 skydives around the world, has been lit on fire for a stunt show, successfully raced cars, won various golf tournaments, climbed mountains and has a passion for the equestrian. Most recently, Angie developed, created and hosted a TV show that focused on the effects that global warming has had on the snows of Mount Kilimanjaro.  The production of the show followed Angie up to the summit of Kilimanjaro as well as documented her week-long safari.

Angie has had the rare opportunity to be in some of the most extreme conditions, has worked with the fashion industries best designers and make-up artists, and has explored virtually every skin, hair and beauty product known to man.  Coupled with her passion for the very best, Angie has been inspired to create a skincare line that can protect fair skin from any environmental danger, while still being effective for all skin types.

The latest addition in Angie’s life occurred on July 24, 2009, in which she gave birth to her beautiful baby boy, Kayden Bobby Everhart. In her own words “being a mother is the greatest thing I have ever done”.  She enjoys her days with her son who keeps her busy, but she still manages to make time to be the newest spokeswoman for Nutrisystem.  Angie went on the Nutrisystem food plan to get back into shape after she had Kayden and continues to follow the plan to maintain a healthy lifestyle.  Angie Everhart has gone from supermodel to super mom and has a passion for life and health.
